Green and White with Yellow Buttons

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of information people will need to replicate each layout. If you have a question that you think you should be answered on this page, email me.

I used the Netscape 216-color palette to create the images on this page, so it should look pretty much the same on a 256 color system as on a higher-color system.

To achieve the two-color effect on this page, I used a background image with dark green and white. The background image is 1 pixel tall and 1024 pixels long. The dark green area is 160 pixels and the rest of the image is white. The background image is very small, just under 1k. View background.

Each of the buttons is a separate graphic. That makes is easier to copy just the ones you need. It also makes them easier to use for links because you don't have to create an image map. Each of the buttons is about 1.1k, very small.

To lay out the text and buttons on the page, I created a two-column table. The table has just one row. The first cell contains all of the buttons. The second cell contains all of the text. If you're not sure what I mean, view the source for this page and look at the tags. It also might be easier for you to save a whole copy of this page and modify the content to suit yourself.
